What is an agentic website?
For a Hire Brian project, an agentic website is a business website you own, with a connected AI coding agent that can make changes for you to review. It also has clear, crawlable public pages that search and AI systems can understand.
The term has different uses. This service does not mean your website runs your business autonomously or publishes whatever an AI suggests. You stay responsible for the facts, approvals and ongoing accounts.

What the website rebuild includes
- Audit and design: Review the existing site, agree on what to keep, and create your new design.
- Content and migration: Move useful content, preserve important URLs and plan redirects where addresses change. Domain settings and business-email migration help are included.
- A working business website: Build up to 40 pages with copy, forms, integrations, mobile layouts and analytics.
- SEO and AI-search foundations: Set up page structure, metadata, crawlable links and accurate business information, with prompts and guidance for continuing the work.
- Your own accounts: Code in your GitHub account, your domain, your Cloudflare hosting account and access to your data. I work as an invited collaborator.
- AI-agent setup and handoff: Connect the agent, train you hands-on, and provide written instructions and a video guide.
Update your website without a developer for every edit
New hours, a changed service description, a photo or a revised button can start with a plain-English request. The agent works on the project, you inspect the preview, and you approve publication.
ChatGPT with an appropriate connected editing workflow, Codex, or Claude Code can help with that process. An ordinary chat conversation without site access cannot change a live website. See the AI website update guide for the setup and the ChatGPT and Claude walkthroughs.
Larger changes still need testing. Payments, customer accounts, security, databases and business-email settings should not be casual experiments. Future repair work is quoted separately.
What you own, and what you keep paying for
The build fee is $2,499 once. Hosting, domain renewals, AI subscriptions and paid connected services remain separate ongoing costs. You maintain those accounts after handoff.
You can access the code and move providers. That is different from only having an editing login inside an agency's account. The website ownership guide explains what to check before hiring a builder.
E-commerce, memberships and custom applications are outside the standard package and quoted separately. We confirm integration requirements and migration details when reviewing your current site.
Will an agentic website rank or get cited by AI?
No builder can guarantee that. I prepare the technical foundation and help make your services and expertise clear. Search performance also depends on the content, competition, reputation and what each search system chooses to show.
Google's AI-search guidance says normal SEO practices still apply. Being editable by an agent and being cited in an AI answer are separate outcomes.
